Tips for a professional capture
- Lighting: Shoot in daylight and avoid strong backlight. Early morning or before sunset gives the best colors.
- Stability: Use a tripod or steady stand — any shake will ruin the stitching.
- People: Avoid clearly visible faces for privacy, or get consent from those who appear.
- Position: Stand at the center of the scene you want to document. Squares and entrances need a central spot.
- Quality: Set the app to maximum resolution. Higher quality means a better viewing experience.
- Apps: Google Street View was discontinued in 2023. Alternatives: Panorama 360 (Android, free), Photo Sphere (Pixel Camera), DMD Panorama (iOS). Full capture guide ←
